Overview
Amar Jyoti Model Secondary School was established in 1960 AD (2017 BS) as a publicly owned academic institute located in Birendranagar-12, Neware, Chanaute, Surkhet, Karnali Pradesh of Nepal. This Secondary School is affiliated to NEB (National Examinations Board) and CTEVT - Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training. It is approved by Ministry of Education (MoE), Nepal. It offers Ten Plus Two (10+2) programs in Science, Management, Education and Humanities streams.
AmarJyoti Model Secondary School, Surkhet also offers Diploma level program such as Diploma in Civil Engineering for 40 seats each year. This school provides 10+2 and diploma level programs with affordable fees structure and also provides various scholarship facilities for deserving and underprivileged students as per the decision of school management committee.
Amarjyoti School has been performing best result in NEB, CTEVT and school level examination since its inception. It is one of the oldest school in Surkhet district continuously performing excellent results. It has been focusing toward extra-curricular activities with state-of-art-facilities. This school also has been running Nursery to class.
