Established in 2008, the Himal Dental Hospital and Institute of Dental Science (Himal Institute of Dental Science) has a proud legacy of producing highly qualified dental personnel. The institution emerged with a noble vision to bridge the gap between professional dental service providers and the individuals seeking these services.
Comprehensive Dental Courses
At present, the institution offers a diverse range of academic courses including Dental Science, Dental Nursing (Assistant) Training, and Dental Lab Mechanics training. In an endeavor to further expand our academic spectrum, we plan on extending our courses to include Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) and Bachelor in Dental Hygiene (BDH) in the near future.

They contribute to conducting various dental camps, training students, and offering practical classes as guest lecturers.

Admission Requirements
Prospective students must meet the following criteria:
- Display a logical bent of mind and a strong thirst for learning.
- Have passed SEE or any equivalent examination with at least a second division.
- Submit a completed application along with the non-refundable fee.
- Successfully complete the Admission Test (Entrance Examination) conducted by CTEVT.

- CTEVT Entrance Topper's Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students who excel in the entrance examination conducted by CTEVT.
- Marginalized/ Disadvantaged and Remote Area Scholarship: This scholarship is designed to aid students from marginalized, disadvantaged communities and remote areas, enabling them to access quality dental education.
- Poor and Intelligent Scholarship: This scholarship aims to support academically brilliant students who might be financially constrained.
