Nepali Army, School of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering Polytechnic (NASEMEP), affiliated to CTEVT, is a not-for-profit engineering education endeavor of Nepali Army managed by the Directorate of Military Welfare. NASEMEP is established in 2078 BS with a vision of developing skilled and professional human resources in the field of engineering education by providing an optimal educational environment and improve the quality of engineering service of Nepali Army and nation as a whole. NASEMEP strives to become one of the foremost institutes for providing state-of-the art multi-disciplinary research ambience that will usher innovative world-class technologies in Nepal.

It currently caters diploma level programs in the field of Automobile and Mechanical engineering offering 48 seats in each program. NASEMEP is all primed to become a center of excellence for inventing the future by designing, collaborating and translating students’ expertise to reach the real world.

NASEMEP is committed in providing hands on skills to the students by optimum utilization of ample number of advanced lab equipment and workshops available. Academic Program Offered:

At NASEMEP, two core academic programs are offered, crafted to prepare students for the dynamic and evolving field of engineering. With a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical applications, these courses promise a holistic educational experience.

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineering is a diverse and flexible field that uses the principles of physics and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. NASEMEP's Diploma in Mechanical Engineering introduces students to these principles, coupled with real-world practices.

This program focuses on:

Admission Guidelines:

Nepali Army School of EME Polytechnic (NASEMEP) is an esteemed educational institute, offering diploma programs in Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. These courses are under the affiliation of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).

Admission Requirements

Admissions at NASEMEP are governed by the latest CTEVT requirements as detailed below:

  • SLC Old Percentage System: Applicants must have at least passed SLC or its equivalent with compulsory subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science.
  • SEE New Letter Grading System: Applicants must have completed their SEE with compulsory English, Mathematics, and Science and secured a minimum CGPA of 1.6 out of 4.0.
  • TSLC (Pre-Diploma): Applicants must have secured at least 68.33% from CTEVT.
  • Entrance Exam: All applicants must pass the entrance examination conducted by CTEVT.
