Tribhuvan University Coordination Division Conducts Training for Deputy Administrators and Equivalent Staff
Tribhuvan University's Coordination Division organized an in-service training program for all service group employees at the level of Deputy Administrator or equivalent, from Poush 1 to 10, 2081. The training saw participation from 45 Deputy Administrator-level employees working in various departments of Tribhuvan University.
The training, held at the Central Department of Public Administration at the Public Administration Campus, included staff from various Tribhuvan University offices across the country. Inaugurating the training, Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Krishna Prasad Basyal emphasized the importance of the training in enhancing the administrative capacity of Tribhuvan University, maintaining consistency in institutional operations, ensuring compliance with economic and administrative activities, and improving the effectiveness and quality of services.
He stated that the training's usefulness depends on the learning of the employees and urged them to make the most of the opportunities provided. Head of the General Administration Division, Rajukumar Shrestha, noted that in the past, upper-level employees rarely had the chance to participate in training. However, now all levels of employees have the opportunity to learn from experienced experts.
The training was made interactive to encourage mutual discussions, knowledge construction, and engagement in the learning and teaching process. At the inauguration ceremony, Chief of the Central Department of Public Administration, Dr. Narendra Paudel, mentioned that the curriculum was designed to enhance the capacity of employees at all levels of Tribhuvan University. He stated that the training would refresh and update everyone.
Acting Head of the Coordination Division, Deepak Tiwari, provided information about the training and made a special request for disciplined participation and involvement in the learning and teaching process. He also emphasized making the training more interactive for maximum learning.
Former Chief Secretaries of the Government of Nepal, Lilamani Poudel and Bimal Koirala, former Secretaries Sharad Chandra Poudel and Krishnahari Banskota, Under Secretaries Baikuntha Aryal, Subash Siwakoti, and Pradeep Pariyar, Deputy Auditor General Shankar Prasad Panthi, and Head of Tribhuvan University's General Administration Division, Rajukumar Shrestha, among others, provided training to the participants.
