Essential Guidelines for Aspirants of the Public Service Exam
The PSC has provided crucial directives for public service exam aspirants to ensure a streamlined process:
- Exam Schedule: PSC strongly emphasizes that candidates follow the pre-released timetable, regardless of sudden holidays.
- Admit Card: Entry to the examination hall is strictly dependent on the admit card presentation.
- Timely Arrival: Candidates are advised to arrive at least an hour before the scheduled test time.
- Banned Items: Electronic devices, including mobile phones and calculators, are strictly forbidden. The sole permitted writing instrument is a black ink pen.
- Identity Verification: Candidates must produce their Nepali citizenship certificate or any valid government-issued photo ID.

Special Provisions for Covid-19 Positive Candidates
PSC has made unique provisions for candidates who have tested positive for Covid-19. Such candidates must:
- Request for Assistant Writers: As per Rule 68 (1) of the Public Service Commission, 2079, candidates in need of assistant writers must submit a relevant application to the office a minimum of 10 days before the examination date. Valid reasons and supporting evidence must accompany this request.
