Overview
Shivapuri Rural Municipality (Nepali: शिवपुरी गाउँपालिका) was incorporated in 2017 (2073 BS) as a local government of Nepal. The headquarters of Shivapuri Gaupalika is located in Mahakali Sherabagar, Nuwakot district of Nepal. It was formed by merging Talakhu, Chhap, Likhu, Sikre, Mahakali, Samudra Devi, Sunkhani, and Thanpati (1-4, and 6-9 Wards) Village Development Committees.
Currently, it has divided into 8 wards. The total area of this Gaupalika is 101.5 square kilometer and the total population is 29,232 (14910 Female, and 14322 Male). This village has a population of various ethnic and religious communities.

East: Sundhupalchowk District
West: Panchakanya, Likhu, and Kakani Rural Municipality
North: Panchakanya and Dupcheshwor Rural Municipality
South: Kathmandu District
