The initial public offering (IPO) of Mailung Khola Hydropower Company (Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited)) has been distributed (Result / Allotment) to the public on Tuesday. Siddhartha Capital, the sales manager of the company, completed the pre-allotment on Monday.
According to Siddhartha Capital, a total of 2,067,967 people had applied for the company's IPO. Of which, the applications of 2 thousand 843 people have been rejected while the applications of the remaining 2 million 65 thousand 124 people have been approved.
Out of the approved applications, 68 thousand 474 people have been allotted shares at the rate of 10 units. Out of which, 6 people have received 1 more unit, i.e. a total of 11 units of shares.
Mailung Khola Hydropower Company had issued 736,286 shares at a face value of Rs 100 per share since Thursday. Out of that, 2 percent or 14 thousand 726 shares have been allotted to the employees and 5 percent or 36 thousand 814 shares have been allotted to the collective investment fund. After that, the remaining 684,746 units have been distributed to the general public.
At present, the paid-up capital of Mailung Khola Hydropower Company is Rs. 294.514 million. After the IPO sale to the public, the company's paid-up capital will reach Rs 368.143 million.
