The School of Arts at Kathmandu University announces opening of admissions for the following Bachelors and Masters level programs for the August Session 2022.
1. Bachelor Programs
· Bachelor in Economics · Bachelor in Media Studies · Bachelor in Community Development · Bachelor in Yogic Sciences and Wellbeing |
Entry requirements
Applicants must have a minimum 10+2 or equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognized institution with a minimum aggregate of 45 percent or 2.0 CGPA. Applicants who have appeared in their final exams of qualifying degree but are waiting for their results can apply for provisional admission.
All candidates seeking admission to any of the above-mentioned programs must appear and pass the Kathmandu University School of Arts Admission Test (KUSAAT) conducted by the School of Arts.

Entrance Exam: 17 August 2022
Interview/Result: 18 August 2022
Admission Period: 21 August-15 September 2022
Class Starts: 18 September 2022
Scholarship:
Merit-based and need-based scholarships are available as per the university's rules.
One seat is reserved for applicants from Lalitpur Metropolitan City.
2. Master Programs

Entry requirements
Completion of at least a 3-year Bachelor's degree with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.5 out of 4.0 or an equivalent of 50 percent marks in the latest degree acquired will be the basic criteria for admission. In addition, securing acceptable results or ranking in the entrance exam will be essential. The entrance exam will test the candidate's language proficiency and analytical abilities. For a Master in Media Studies, candidates with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the associated field will require a minimum CGPA 2 out of 4 or 45 percent can apply.

Scholarship
UGC scholarship (formula-funding) is available for 20% of the total number of admitted students.
One seat is reserved for applicants from Lalitpur Metropolitan City.
International Applicants: 10 percent of seats are reserved for foreign applicants.
