CTEVT Pre-Diploma Level Free Industrial Trainee Training (Apprenticeship) Program 2081

Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Examination Control Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur Urgent Notice Regarding Application Submission for Pre-Diploma Level Free Industrial Trainee Training (Apprenticeship) Program

With coordination from the Training Development Division of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), this notice is published for the information of all concerned. It invites eligible Nepali citizens to apply for the Pre-Diploma Level 24-month Industrial Trainee Training (Apprenticeship) program for the academic session 2081/082, which will be conducted free of charge.

Eligible candidates will be selected through an entrance exam based on the criteria outlined below for admission to the apprenticeship programs. The program will be conducted by affiliated, partner, and TECS community schools authorized by the council to run the Industrial Trainee Training (Apprenticeship) Program.

Details:

(1) Required Qualifications: (a) Must have participated in the SLC or SEE examinations (as per the Curriculum Committee's decision dated 2081/04/04).
(b) The applicant must be mentally and physically capable of undergoing the relevant training.
(c) Must be at least 16 years old and a Nepali citizen.
(d) For Dalit, Janajati, disabled, Muslim, Madhesi, remote area residents, and economically disadvantaged candidates, a recommendation letter from the concerned local body is required.

(2) Basis for Selection:

Among the eligible and interested applicants, the total score will be out of 100 marks (Application Form Evaluation - 20, Industry/Business Recommendation Letter - 20, Written Entrance Exam - 30, and Interview - 30). Candidates scoring at least 35 marks will be selected based on merit and quotas. For detailed information regarding this, please refer to the "Pre-Diploma Level Industrial Trainee Training (Apprenticeship) - Trainee Selection, Admission, and Evaluation Guidelines, 2079 (with amendments)." Required Documents to Submit with Application Form:

1. Three recent passport-size photos with a clear facial image.
2. Certified copy of the certificate of participation in SLC/SEE.
3. For candidates who have passed SLC/SEE or equivalent from a country other than Nepal, a certified copy of the equivalency determination letter from the authority designated by the Government of Nepal.

Selection Process Schedule:

a. Date of Application Form Distribution: From 4th Ashoj 2081.
b. Place to Obtain and Submit Application Forms: Relevant institutions or can be downloaded for free from the CTEVT website https://www.ctevtexam.org.np or https://www.enssure.org.np.
c. Last Date to Submit Application Forms: By 18th Ashoj 2081.
d. Last Date for ITMS Online Entry: The relevant educational institution must enter the data in ITMS online by the day after the last date for form submission.
e. Date and Time of Written Entrance Exam: Saturday, 3rd Kartik 2081, 8:00 AM.
f. Venue for Written Entrance Exam: The respective educational institution.
g. Date and Time of Interview: Saturday, 3rd Kartik 2081, from 1:00 PM onwards.
h. Venue for Interview: The respective educational institution.

Facilities for Industrial Trainees (Apprentices):

(a) Opportunity for free education.
(b) Transportation allowance of NPR 100 per trainee per attendance day.

Regarding Candidates in the Merit List:

Candidates will only be admitted to the program they participated in during the written and interview processes, based on merit. They will not be eligible for admission to other programs.

Fees:

The educational institution is not allowed to charge examination fees from the candidates. However, the institution must deposit NPR 500 per candidate as well as NPR 5,000 for notification publishing fees in the designated account of the respective council’s provincial office. Additionally, NPR 3,000 must be deposited per additional program, and the institution can seek reimbursement for these amounts from the ENSSURE project later.
