Diploma / PCL Level Full Fee Paying Admission - CTEVT:

Urgent Notice regarding filling up of application form for Diploma and Certificate Level Full Fee Paying in the academic session 2077/078 of Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Examination Control Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur:

Diploma and certificate level educational programs conducted by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT); In the academic session 2077/078, affiliated, partners, technical education (TECS) programs in community schools and privately run educational institutions, which were approved by the Council, conducted “Diploma and Certificate Level Entrance Examination, Scholarship Distribution” issued by CTEVT Examination Control Office. This notice has been published for the information of all those who are eligible to select students in full fee-paying as per the guideline 2074 (Third Amendment) to fill the application form electronically (Online) by following the health-related criteria prescribed by the Government of Nepal by 14th Ashoj, 2077.

1. Eligibility Criteria:

1. Minimum educational qualifications required for PCL Nursing:

  • Passed SLC or similar examination in compulsory Mathematics, English, and Science subjects from a recognized educational institution in at least second class or obtained 45% marks in total marks or passed SLC. Accordingly, in the total integer of TSLC related to the program run by CTEVT or Tribhuvan University, he passed with 68.33 and 66.67 percent marks respectively.
  • After the implementation of the alphabetical system, in the case of compulsory Mathematics, English, and Science in the SLC / SEE examination from a recognized educational institution, a minimum C grade has been obtained and the overall grade point average (GPA) - minimum 2.0 has been obtained.

2. Minimum educational qualifications required for  PCL Dental Sciences, PCL Diagnostics Radiography, PCL General Ayurvedic Medicine, PCL ophthalmic science PCL in Acupuncture, Diploma in Pharmacy, and PCL in Physiotherapy:

  • Passed SLC or similar examinations in compulsory Mathematics, English, and Science subjects from recognized educational institutes. Accordingly, in the total integer of TSLC related to the program run by CTEVT or Tribhuvan University, he passed with 68.33 and 66.67 percent marks respectively.
  • After the implementation of the alphabetical system, in the case of compulsory Mathematics, English, and Science in the SLC / SEE examination from a recognized educational institution, a minimum C grade has been obtained and the overall grade point average (GPA) has been obtained a minimum of 2.0.

3. Minimum educational qualifications required for Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Diploma in Geometry Engineering, Diploma in Architecture Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering, Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Diploma in Information Technology (IT), Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Refrigerator and AC Engineering and Diploma in Hydropower Engineering:

  • Passed SLC or similar examinations in compulsory Mathematics, English, and Science subjects from recognized educational institutes. Accordingly, in the total integer of TSLC related to the program run by CTEVT or Tribhuvan University, he passed with 68.33 and 66.67 percent marks respectively.
  • Obtained minimum C grade in compulsory mathematics and science and minimum D + grade in English in the SLC / SEE examination from a recognized educational institution after the implementation of the alphabetical system.

4. Minimum educational qualifications required for Diploma in Agriculture (Plant Science), Diploma in Agriculture (Animal Science), Diploma in Food and Dairy Technology, and Diploma in Forestry:

  • Passed SLC or similar examinations in compulsory Mathematics, English, and Science subjects from recognized educational institutes. Accordingly, in the total integer of TSLC related to the program run by CTEVT or Tribhuvan University, he passed with 68.33 and 66.67 percent marks respectively.
  • Obtained a minimum C grade in any two subjects and a minimum D + grade in one of the compulsory English, Mathematics, and Science subjects in the SLC / SEE examination from a recognized educational institution after the implementation of the alphabetical system.

5. Minimum educational qualifications required for Diploma in Hotel Management, Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Social worker:

  • Passed SLC or similar examinations in compulsory Mathematics, English, and Science subjects from recognized educational institutes. Accordingly, in the total integer of TSLC related to the program run by CTEVT or Tribhuvan University, he passed with 68.33 and 66.67 percent marks respectively.
  • Obtained D + grade in compulsory English, Mathematics and Science subjects in SLC / SEE examination from a recognized educational institution after the implementation of the alphabetical system.

2. Full fee targeted class quota

A) Full Charged Target Category: Disabled, Former Kamaiya / Haliya, Backward Classes, Dalit, Women, Adivasi-Janajati, Muslim, Madhesi and Jana Andolan / Janayudda / Madesh-Andolan / Conflict Victims / Displaced / Disappeared / Martyred Families / Injured or A target fee quota has been fixed for the full fee in each educational program as mentioned in the details from the target group of their offspring.

B) Candidates who have studied in community government or private schools will be able to participate in this target group. In selecting the candidates in this quota, competition is held among all the target groups mentioned. Will be selected based on the highest score. Candidates who fill-up the form in the full fee targeted category quota will not be allowed to compete in the full fee open quota.

C) The arrangement has been made to include 15% male trainees in the certificate level nursing program.

3. Full Fee Paying TSLC (Pre-Diploma) Quota

A) In every affiliated, community, partnership, and private level educational institution of the council, a 50 percent quota has been fixed for the candidates who have passed the certificate level medical lab technology program and a 10 percent quota for the candidates who have passed TSLC (pre-diploma) in other educational programs run by the council or Tribhuvan University. If CMA program passers want to study in the Diploma in Pharmacy program, a 10 percent TSLC (pre-diploma) quota has been allocated in the program.

B) When selecting the candidates in the quota determined in this way, the selection will be done through competition among the same group.

4. Full fee open quota

A) Vacant seats other than scholarship, target group, and TSLC (pre-diploma) quota will fall under this quota. Anyone in this quota will be able to fill the application form.

5. Jehendar Scholarship

Jehendar Scholarship will be awarded to the one who gets the highest marks among the candidates selected from the full fee target class quota and full fee open quota who have filled the application form for admission in each educational institution. The scholarship provided in this way will be applicable only for the first year or semester. For the second year or semester, the highest marks in the previous year or semester will be given to the examinee. Students receiving scholarships in this way will not be allowed to charge any fee other than food and accommodation.

6. Documents to be submitted along with the application

A) Two recent passport size (35mmx45mm) color photos showing clear faces. (The name on the back of the photo and the program you want to study should be clearly written)

B) Copy of SLC or TSLC or SEE or similar educational qualification certificate and certificate.

C) A copy of the letter of equivalence determined by the body designated by the Government of Nepal in case of passing SLC or similar examination from a country other than Nepal.

D) Full Fee Paying Candidates who are included in the target group quota should submit a copy of the self-targeted class opening documents specified in point no. 8 of the admission guideline-2074 (Third Amendment).

7. Information about the selection process

Due to the global impact of COVID-19, a large number of students have not been able to attend the entrance exams and other programs; For the academic session 2077/078 only, the selection process for full fee-paying students has been established as follows. While collecting the application form, it is mandatory to follow the health-related criteria prescribed by the Government of Nepal. For which educational institutions will have to use electronic means.

A) The concerned school will collect the application form from the applicants who have reached the minimum qualification as specified in the notice.

B) To enter the application forms in the Web-Based Online Integrated Training Management System (ITMS) available from the Council, Examination Controller Office within the period specified in the notification by the concerned school. After the online entry form is approved by the Examination Control Office, the admission permission number of the examinee will be maintained and only the examinees who have the permit number will be included in the list of qualifications.

C) To form the following result preparation sub-committee in each school.

I) The principal of the concerned school: Coordinator

II) The employee in charge of the education of the concerned municipality or employee representative appointed by the municipality: Member

III) Instructor or staff designated by the concerned school board of directors: Member Secretary

D) To prepare the main candidate, alternative candidate, and pass list with the admission permit number by determining the qualification order according to the highest marks as per the marks obtained in the entrance examination or SEE from among the candidates who have filled the online application form by filling the application form within the date specified by the sub-committee. When preparing the list in this way, if the score is equal, it will be maintained as follows.

I) If the score of SLC / SEE is equal then the one who gets the highest mark/grade/grade point of compulsory mathematics should be given first priority.

II) If the highest marks of compulsory mathematics are also equal, to determine the qualification list on the basis of the highest marks/grades/grade points obtained in compulsory science and compulsory English respectively.

III) To prepare qualification list on the basis of single women, women, Dalit, Adivasi / Janajati, Muslim, Madhesi, backward and remote areas if the marks are equal as per the above points (a) and (b) respectively.

E) To prepare the result according to the program as per the qualification order by the concerned school and to recommend the aggregate of the application form to the concerned council, state office by secretly signing it.

F) The result prepared by the concerned school for the publication of the result will be verified by the concerned council, state office, and the result will be published and posted on its website and the website of the council.

G) Candidates who have not filled the online application form within the stipulated time will not be admitted. If the candidates who have not filled the online application form within the stipulated time are admitted, such students will not be registered and the entire responsibility will fall on the principal of the school concerned.
