Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Center for Education and Human Resource Development, (Early Child Development Branch), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur notice to start students enrollment program in the community and institutional schools
For the new academic session starting from 1st of Ashad 2078 (15th of June 2021), all the schools are requested to make arrangements for the following children in the school-age group by informing the parents within their service area through telephone, internet, FM radio, television, and social media.
- Conducting student enrollment programs in coordination with the concerned local level and local administration and following health standards,
- To document the enrollment of students, to adopt alternative methods including information technology, to enroll them, to adopt online enrollment, phone in enrollment methods,
- The first phase of the recruitment drive will be conducted till June 30 (15th of Ashad 2078) and for the second phase, arrangements will be made to talk to all the school-age children by mid-August by adopting various media.
- At the time of enrollment, parents' contact numbers, email addresses, and other details will be collected and records will be kept by identifying the means by which the student has access to alternative learning.
- Provide free textbooks for such students and start reading through alternative means.
- To keep records with full details of the enrolled students and update them in IEMIS after the enrollment program is completed.
P.S .: It is also requested that all the 753 local levels and all the 77 education development and coordination units provide the necessary coordination and facilitation for the recruitment program within their service areas.
