Beyond Beijing Committee Nepal Organized Province Level Youth Discussion Program:

The Beyond Beijing Committee Nepal, an organization working on women's empowerment and rights, has organized a discussion on youth issues. The youths participating in the province-level discussion on the right of the Beyond Beijing Committee Nepal to make their own decisions on their own bodies are of the opinion that they should have the opportunity to get information on the subject.

The committee also unveiled a manifesto from a discussion held at seven state-level virtual gatherings organized with the objective of spreading youth awareness in the field of safe motherhood and reproductive health, sexual health, and who should decide who to marry and how many children a woman or teenager should have.

Anika Rai, the chairperson of the youth corps team, said that many young people were interested in the issue of reproductive health. She said that if only sex education is enough, the youths are of the view that it will be easier to solve the personal and family social problems related to the reproductive health sector including the deviations seen in this field.

The committee has been working in the field of women's health since 2002 under the title 'C Decide' under the concept of having to make its own decisions. Under this, it has been conducting youth-targeted programs to motivate the women/adolescents to move forward with prudent decisions in achieving the goal of achieving reproductive health and other goals in life.

In the program, activist Shantalakshmi Shrestha made public the Instagram and Facebook page of the 'C Decide Nepal' campaign. Committee Chairperson Sushila Shrestha said that the committee has been conducting programs for the empowerment of women by increasing the participation of the youth in every activity and making them responsible.
