Five-Day Training on School Leadership Development and Management Started for Teachers in Kalikot

A five-day training program on school leadership development and management has recently commenced in Manm, Nepal. The training is aimed at enhancing the leadership skills of teachers and headmasters in two local levels of Kalikot district.

Financial Support and Coordination

The training program is financially supported by Save the Children and coordinated by Tilaghufa Municipality, Shubhakalika Rural Municipality, Education Development and Coordination Unit, and Karnali Integrated Rural Development & Research Center (KIRDARC) Nepal.

Topics Covered in the Training

The training program covers various topics related to school leadership and management, including results, lesson observation and note writing, reflection of student evaluation, teacher's professional development plan (PDP), and article writing. The program aims to develop the leadership skills of teachers and headmasters so that they can manage schools more efficiently and effectively.

Insight from Sahayatra Project Coordinator

Kripraj Joshi, the coordinator of the Sahayatra project, said that the training program would provide teachers with essential skills and knowledge to lead and manage schools effectively. Joshi emphasized that the training would cover topics that would help teachers write articles and develop professional development plans.

The district coordinator of KIRDARC Nepal, Tularam Pandey, highlighted the importance of applying the skills learned in the training program in practice.
