May 1st - International Workers' Day:

May 1st, International Workers' Day is being observed around the world in remembrance of the labor movement that started with the slogan 'Eight hours of work, eight hours of entertainment and eight hours of rest. In 1886, World Labor Day was celebrated in Chicago, the USA with the slogan 'Eight hours of work, eight hours of recreation and eight hours of rest.
