US-UK College FAM Trip 2021 is a smart and complete approach to college admissions. It is not just a tour holiday. It is a complete package of the first-hand inspection of colleges and face-to-face interaction with university officials and students in the US and UK, supported by counseling and consultancy service for college admissions and student VISA application. The tour will assist the students to plan ahead and easily decide the destination for college admission in the US and UK which happens to be a leading destination for higher education.

ABOUT THE TRIP

Objectives of US-UK College FAM Trip?

The objectives of the Education Tour are as follows:

Preparation for college application:

  • Counselling and Advisory Service: College/university research, student financial aid research, and resources, admissions organization and strategy, individual college/university applications
  • College/university Familiarization: campus visit of colleges/universities in UK and US, attend on-campus presentations and campus tours by admissions officers, meet college/university admissions officers and scholarship/financial aid counselors, meet Nepali and American student on campus, apply in person at select colleges/universities.

Preparation for student VISA application:

  • Counseling and Advisory Service: Understanding the VISA process for the US and UK, Developing an application strategy, Documentation, Preparation for a VISA interview.

Fun Travel:

  • See the modern world of the West and learn how to go about it
  • Cultural city tours of London, Boston, NYC, and Washington DC
  • Excursion to Ocean Beach in the US
  • Meet the locals as well as Nepalese students in the US and UK

  • You will learn to apply to colleges wisely, taking all aspects into consideration: your professional goal, academic curriculum, family financial resources, scholarships and financial assistance, student jobs, etc.
  • You will get a chance to visit the countries and cities, the colleges and universities to get a first-hand experience of how they actually are and function.
  • You will learn to apply for student VISA correctly, taking all aspects into consideration: your academic and family background, family financial resources, career interest, college academic curriculum, etc.
  • Last but not least, it is a great opportunity to see the Western world with all the trappings of its culture as well as technological and economic advancement. A great way to meet the peoples of these lands who we normally just see them here as tourist or INGO expatriate consultants or diplomats.

 SAFETY AND DISCIPLINE IN THE US-UK COLLEGE FAM TRIP:

  • All students will have travel insurance which will bear the cost of any possible accidents or medical emergencies.
  • All students will be paired in the primary and secondary buddy system
  • All movements will be in groups except in hotels/hostels or a specific premise or compound where they may be on their own.
  • All students will carry mobile phones and important contact telephone numbers.
  • There will be separate accommodation arrangements for girls and boys.
  • There will be one female and one male trip leader throughout the entire trip
  • Cash safe-keeping may be provided by the trip leaders

 WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Presently enrolled in Class XI or XII in 10+2 Schools
  • Application Form should be accompanied by No-Objection letters from school principal and guardians, two photos, passport or citizenship certificate copy

COST AND TERMS OF PAYMENT

  • US-UK:   US$ 2400 per student on the basis of 27 pax plus airfare
  • US only: US$ 1950 per student on the basis of 27 pax plus airfare
  • UK only: US$ 1350 per student on the basis of 27 pax plus airfare 

#Surcharge may be applicable if pax number falls below 27

Fee Coverage &Exclusions

  • Does not include airfare, excess baggage
  • Group travel in coach with attached toilet (and perhaps internet access)
  • Multiple or double occupancy in hotel or hostel or B&B or college accommodation
  • Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • City tours of London, Boston, New York City, and Washington DC
  • Standard travel insurance against accidents and medical emergencies
  • Does not include personal expenses such as telephone, laundry, snacks, local taxi/bus
  • Does not include visa fees
  • Pre and post tour workshops on US/UK college admission and student VISA applications
  • Individual counseling for higher studies and admissions and student VISA applications

 Terms of Payment:

  • NRs. 10,000 with the submission of the application form as a non-refundable part payment.
  • NRs. 10,000 refundableupon rejection of education tour application or in case the tour is cancelled by the organizers before the VISA application.
  • NRs equivalent of full US Dollar fee must be submitted before April 18th, 2021 (Sunday).Full payment required upon application of tourist VISAs. Full refund less NRs. 10,000 in the case of VISA denial.
  • Full ticket payment must be done before May 9th, 2020 (Sunday).
