Notice Regarding Examination Form Submission for Partial and Grade Increment Candidates for Grade 11 and 12

Government of Nepal, NEB, Examination Control Office (Class 11 & 12), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur. The Government of Nepal, through the National Examination Board (NEB) Examination Control Office, has issued a notice to allow old partial and grade increment candidates of Class 11 and 12 to submit their examination application forms.

This notice is intended for students who previously studied in secondary schools/campuses affiliated with Class 11 and 12 and who either failed in a subject or were absent, or could not obtain the required grades in the letter grading system (students who received grades 'D' or 'E' according to the old grading system).

For candidates who wish to participate in the examinations, application forms should be filed through the respective schools within 35 days from the publication date of this notice (i.e., by Mangsir 27, 2081 BS), using the format prescribed by the National Examination Board.

Schools/campuses are requested to collect the completed forms from their students and submit them, along with the payment voucher from the bank or proof of digital payment and a print copy of the online entry, to the respective offices of the National Examination Board by Poush 2, 2081 BS. When submitting examination forms, please ensure that they comply with the following guidelines:

Instructions for Filling the Examination Form

  1. Candidates for Old Partial and Grade Increment: Candidates with registration numbers starting with '56' or higher and '77' or lower (for Class 12) or '76' or lower (for Class 11) must fill out the application form only for the subjects in which they failed or did not achieve the required grade (i.e., grades 'D' or 'E' under the old grading system).

  2. Examination Fee: An examination fee of NPR 1,000/—per subject must be deposited into the National Examination Board's account by Mangsir 27, 2081 BS.

  3. Practical Subjects: Candidates with only practical subjects must also mandatorily submit the examination fee of NPR 1,000/- per subject within the specified timeframe.

  4. Submission by Schools: When submitting the examination forms of the candidates, schools must arrange them in sequential order based on the registration year and registration number.

  5. Additional Subjects: Candidates wishing to take extra subjects (a maximum of 100/100 full marks for Class 11 and 12, totaling 200 full marks) may also complete the examination application form.

  6. Migration Document Requirement: Candidates wishing to take additional subjects must attach the original document. If the original migration document has been submitted to any educational institution, a recommendation letter from that institution must be attached.

  7. Examination Participation: Candidates submitting the application form must participate in the examinations based on the old curriculum. Suppose there is a difference in full marks for a subject with the same name. In that case, they must take the exam based on the full marks they originally studied (e.g., Environment Education, Introduction to Education, Education Pedagogy, Mass Communication, etc.).

  8. Exam Centers and Schedule: The examination center and schedule will be published later based on the number of applications received.

  9. Practical and Theoretical Subjects: Candidates who must appear for both practical and theoretical subjects must include the codes in their examination form.

  10. Discontinued or Closed Schools: Candidates who studied at schools that have been discontinued or are not currently operational must contact the relevant offices of the National Examination Board directly to submit their forms.

  11. Form Entry Process: The candidates must fill out the examination form. Schools must ensure that the filled-in details are entered online through the National Examination Board's portal, accessed via https://exam.neb.gov.np or the NEB website www.neb.gov.np. Once accessed, click "Online Exam Form (Class 12)" and enter the provided details accordingly. The examination form will be open online from Mangsir 1, 2081 BS, to the end of Mangsir, 2081 BS. All schools are requested to complete the online entry within the specified timeframe.

  12. Payment Process: The examination fee must be directly deposited into the board's account at Rastriya Banijya Bank through the voucher system or the available Payment Gateway. In the case of digital payment, proof must be attached to the examination form.

  13. For Schools/Campuses: The National Examination Board offices request all schools/campuses under their jurisdiction to disseminate this information and ensure proper processing of the examination forms as per this notice.
