TU Master's 4th Semester (Science and Engineering) Partial Exam Form Submission Notice

The Tribhuvan University (TU), Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), Dean’s Office, has announced the submission of exam forms for the Master's 4th Semester (Second Year) Partial Exams under the Grading System. This includes various subjects for the partial exams scheduled for students of the 2077 batch and earlier batches.

Subjects Included

1. Geology and Engineering Geology

2. Computer Science and Information Technology

3. Botany, Mathematics, Microbiology, Zoology, and Chemistry

4. Physics, Statistics, and Environmental Science

5. Biotechnology, Food Technology, and Hydrology

6. Environmental Health in Disaster (EHD)

7. Biodiversity and Environmental Management (BEM)

Key Dates

• Form Submission Deadline: Poush 11, 2081

• Submission by Departments/Campuses to Dean’s Office: Poush 14, 2081

Form Submission Guidelines

Departments and campuses must ensure the following:

1. Attendance Details: Include attendance records on the exam form as per TU regulations.

2. Internal Assessment Marks:

   • Mention the marks on the exam form.

   • Submit a separate list along with the exam form.

3. Failed Internal Assessments:

   • Students with failed internal assessment marks must not fill out forms for such subjects. If submitted, the exam for those subjects will be canceled.

4. Subject-wise Data: Submit subject-wise data with the exam forms.

5. Marksheet Copies: Attach a photocopy of the mark sheet with the exam form for partial students.

Exam Fees

1. Regular Exam Fees:

   • General Subjects: NPR 1,500/- per semester

   • Engineering Geology: NPR 2,000/- per semester

   • Environmental Health in Disaster/Master in Data Science: NPR 2,500/- per semester

2. Late Fee (First Week):

   • General Subjects: NPR 1,500/-

   • Engineering Geology: NPR 2,000/-

   • Environmental Health in Disaster/Master in Data Science: NPR 2,500/-

Fee Submission Process

Departments and campuses must collect the exam fees and deposit them into the following account:

• Bank: Nepal Bank, Kirtipur Branch

• Account Name: Institute of Science and Technology, Dean’s Office

Additional Information

1. Exam Centers: To be announced later.

2. Practical Exams: Departments/campuses must conduct these within two weeks of the written exam's completion.

Important Notes

• TU has removed the provision to change exam centers.

• Once the form is submitted, no changes in subjects will be allowed.

• Students must personally fill out and sign the exam form and admit card. Failure to do so will void the form.
