Government of Nepal, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation: BP Koirala National Award, 2078 has been established as per the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal dated 2078-06-11. This notice has been published for submission of application to the Culture Division of the Ministry within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of the information along with the specified documents from the persons or organizations who have contributed in the field specified for the following categories as provided in Section 4 (1) of the BP Koirala National Award Procedure, 207. The award procedure is available on the Ministry's website: www.tourism.gov.np.

1) The main genres and areas of the award:
A) Political Philosophy: BP means to search, study and research and write political philosophy, principles, policies, and ideas, or to play a scholarly role in applying those philosophical policies and ideas to Nepal in a timely manner, or to explore the political field, Contributed significantly to the political and economic transformation of Nepali society through the study and research and writing.
B) Literary genre: BP Koirala's literary work through research, study, and research, translation of the work in the field of Nepali and world literature has made a significant contribution to the flourishing of Nepali literature.
2) Details or documents to be attached while applying or recommending:
A) Details of person/organization: name / surname, name of mother / father, name of spouse, contact address, e-mail, phone / mobile number, permanent account number (PAN),
B) Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate,
C) 2 passport size photos,
D) Description of published masterpieces (one copy as far as possible),
E) In the absence of published work, other materials, publications, even documents.
