Call for Nominations - WWF Nepal Conservation Award 2021
The Conservation Award was established in 1995 by the WWF, a global conservation organization leading international initiatives for the living world, to honor individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the conservation of valuable biodiversity.
WWF Nepal invites nominations for the WWF Conservation Award 2021 from Nepali individuals working in the field of conservation and natural resource management and/or organizations registered in Nepal.
The nominations need to reflect notable achievements and innovative efforts in the areas of biodiversity conservation, climate change and pollution, sustainable development, environmental education, policy and advocacy, media and journalism, participatory conservation, and other related areas.
Out of the nominations received by an independent and inclusive selection committee comprising experts from different fields, three will be selected for the Conservation Award.
Prize winners will receive testimonials and cash prizes. The cash prize is Rs. 50,000 for individuals and Rs. 100,000 for organizations.
