The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt presents its compliments to the Esteemed Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Nepal, and has the honour to inform that Al-Azhar in Cairo has offered fifteen (15) scholarships to the Nepalese Muslim students for the academic year 2018-2019, out of fifteen scholars, twelve students will study in Al Azhar institutes and three (3) students will study Islamic studies in the Al-Azhar University.
The Students are going to study, initially, Arabic language and Islamic studies besides the other studies applicable in Egypt. The study in these institutes qualifies the students for further studies in the faculties of the Al-Azhar University. Eligibility for the scholarship, students have to be Nepali citizen from non-Egyptian parents; not nominated before for this scholarship, physically and mentally fit and should not be two students from the same family.
Al-Azahar will provide full board accommodation to the selected students in addition to a monthly pocket money.
The Embassy kindly asks the Ministry to inform the competent authorities to present their candidates through the Esteemed Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the end of August 2018.
