The U.S. Educational Foundation in Nepal (the Fulbright Commission) announces the competition for the Humphrey Fellowships for the academic year 2019-2020. The Programs brings mid-career professionals to the U.S. for 10 months of non-degree study and professional experience. Fellowships are granted to those who can show a strong commitment to public service in the government, NGO, or Private sectors, and a potential for national leadership.
In addition to the regular Humphrey Program, USEF is again offering a Long-Term English (LTE) training opportunity to facilitate the participation of candidates from non-elite populations, rural areas, minority group and other who may be excellent Humphrey material but are lacking the necessary language skills.
Qualified women candidates and members of disadvantaged communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
