International Vice-Chancellors Scholarship at Deakin University

100% International Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship at Deakin University: An Opportunity to Propel Your Academic Journey

Deakin University, a globally recognized institution, is now welcoming applications for its International Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship. The scholarship aims to honour students with outstanding academic performance, and the potential to become leading contributors to Deakin University and its extended communities.

Eligible applicants must be citizens of and residing in the following South Asian countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Mauritius, Myanmar, and Nepal. They should also be applying via a Deakin-authorised agent based in these countries.

Key Benefits:

  1. A full waiver on the total indicative tuition fee, as mentioned in your Letter of Offer.*
  2. A priority slot for on-campus accommodation (at the individual's own expense and subject to availability).

*Please note: This scholarship is not applicable for H911 (Doctor of Medicine).

Academic Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet one of the following academic eligibility criteria:

  • Achieve an overall score of 85% in Year 12 from CBSE / ICSE / State Board; OR
  • Secure a score of 10 overall in the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) / A Level; OR
  • Obtain a score of 32 overall in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP); OR
  • Achieve an overall score of 80% in an undergraduate degree.

Required Application Documents:

To apply for the International Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship, you are required to submit:

  1. A personal statement (300 words) outlining your reasons for wanting to study at Deakin University and your involvement in extracurricular activities and/or work experience.
  2. Two references who can vouch for your community engagement and leadership potential.
  3. A complete application to study at Deakin, including academic transcripts.

Remember, your personal statement must be authentic, and reflect your personal views.
