Scholarship Program for MD in General Practice & Emergency Medicine (MDGP& EM)
Nick Simons Institute (NSI) is an organization working to enhance rural health care of Nepal with a mission to innovate solutions in rural healthcare – through training, hospital support and advocating for healthcare workers with the government of Nepal since its establishment in 2006. NSI seeks application from qualified Nepali MD in General Practice & Emergency Medicine (MDGP & EM) residents from private medical colleges. Selected residents will be supported with full tuition costs and stipend for 3 years of Postgraduates program and in return, the graduates must work for 2 years at NSI designated rural government hospitals. Payment and benefits during the bond period after graduation will be as per NSI program norms.

Eligibility:
- Enrolled residents in MD in General Practice & Emergency Medicine (MDGP & EM) academic program after successful entrance exam set by the Medical Education Commission, Nepal.
- Have a valid registration with Nepal Medical Council (NMC).
- Enrolled institution/college must be a private.
