"Laxmidas Manandhar Child Welfare Award" Notification from the Welfare Committee: On the occasion of the anniversary of Salt Trading Corporation Limited, the "Laxmidas Manandhar Child Welfare Award (Laxmidas Manandhar Bal Hitkari Puraskar) " is presented annually to individuals or organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the educational, psychological, physical, material, moral, and character development of children.
In this regard, for the year 2081 BS, recommendations for individuals or organizations meeting the following criteria are invited to register at the Corporation's Central Office in Kathmandu or the Provincial Offices in Biratnagar, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Pokhara, Dhangadhi, and Nepalgunj by Bhadra 5, 2081 BS.
Recommendations registered after Bhadra 5, 2081 BS, will not be accepted.
Criteria:
(1) Individuals or organizations that have directly served in the fields of children's health, education, and child psychology, or have been actively involved in the educational and mental development of differently-abled and underprivileged children for an extended period.
(2) Organizations or individuals who have been continuously working for at least 5 years in the care and support of underprivileged children or have effectively raised awareness about children's rights and related issues in a practical and impactful manner.
(3) Priority will be given to organizations that operate with domestic resources.
