Kathmandu, October 5, 2023 - A significant stride was taken in the academic sphere today, with the Kathmandu Center for Research and Education (KCRE) joining hands with the Chinese Academy of Sciences to award substantial educational grants to promising postgraduate scholars.

  • Joint Venture for Excellence: The KCRE's collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences ensures that the brightest minds at Tribhuvan University get the support they need.

  • Beneficiaries: A commendable total of 13 standout postgraduate students from the Institute of Science and Technology Studies, Central Department of Water and Meteorology, and other associated campuses of Tribhuvan University, have been graced with this year's grants.

  • Annual Grant Amount: Every year, a whopping amount of 80,000 is dedicated to these grants, reinforcing the commitment to bolstering academic prowess.

  • A History of Generosity: Stemming from an agreement in 2014 between Tribhuvan University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a laudable 130 students have so far benefitted from this initiative.
