Notice for Hem Bahadur Malla Award, 2080

The Hem Bahadur Malla Award managed by the Nepal Public Administration Association (PAAN), honors individuals or institutions for outstanding contributions in public administration, management, and service. The award recognizes excellence in leadership and institutional transformation across various sectors. Nominations for the 2080 award are invited by Bhadra 31, 2081, with detailed criteria provided.

In honor of the skilled administrator and manager, the late Hem Bahadur Malla, the Hem Bahadur Malla Award was established in 2059 by the courtesy of Salt Trading Corporation. The Nepal Public Administration Association (PAAN) has been awarding this honor annually, accompanied by a cash prize of NPR 200,000, to individuals or institutions that have made outstanding contributions in various fields of public administration, management, and service.

In this regard, for the Hem Bahadur Malla Award, 2080, we request the submission of names and details of individuals or institutions that meet the following criteria. Please send the recommended names, along with a brief introduction of the nominee, to the address provided below by Bhadra 31, 2081, via email or letter.

  1. Individuals or institutions that have provided excellent and extraordinary contributions through skilled institutional leadership in the advancement and progress of sectors such as industry, commerce, health, public service, public service delivery, information management, innovation, research, and public concerns.

  2. Individuals or institutions that have made significant contributions in the role of founder/promoter/director or chief executive/manager, successfully achieving institutional transformation in various fields of public administration, management, and service.

Note:

This award, governed by the Hem Bahadur Malla Procedure, 2077, will be conferred upon individuals or institutions that have made significant or exemplary contributions in the field of public administration or organized corporate governance within the private sector, as mentioned above. A five-member independent high-level selection committee has been formed for this purpose.

Therefore, PAAN sincerely requests your support in recommending suitable candidates or institutions for this prestigious honor.
