School Establishes Community Library at Chitwan

Chitwan, April 2: A community library has been established at Subba Chowk of Ratnanagar in Chitwan district.  Skyrider Secondary Boarding School established the library with an objective of developing the reading culture among the community people, said School Chairperson, Durga Puri.  The library was set up in memory of school founder Dipendra Chhetri. One can read different types of books including religious, literature and social subjects.  It was set up at a cost of around two million rupees. School Principal Madan Puri said they plan to expand the library in the days ahead. Villagers can also use library for reading. The school established the library after taking seven katthas of land on lease.
