Public Representatives Enroll Their Children in Public Schools in Aanbu Khaireni Rural Municipality

In a bid to improve the quality of education in public schools, people's representatives of Aanbu Khaireni rural municipality in Nepal have started enrolling their children in public schools. The decision was taken during a village executive meeting, and it was agreed that the children of the public representatives should be educated in public schools from the new academic session.

Enrollment of Public Representatives' Children

As per reports, Chairman Shukra Chuman has already enrolled his two children in public schools. His son Anurag Chuman has been admitted to Annapurna Primary School in Aabun khaireni Rural Municipality-2 in class 2, while his daughter Akshara Chuman has been admitted to Ramshah Secondary School in Aabun khaireni-3 in class 7. Ward president Santosh Gurung of Ambukhaireni-5 is also enrolling his two daughters in a public school. A total of 32 people's representatives from the rural municipality are expected to enroll their children and grandchildren in public schools.

Campaign to Transform Public School Education

The rural municipality has initiated a campaign to transform public school education and has set the year 2080 as a target. Chairman Chuman said that several programs such as management of facilities-rich physical infrastructure, management of full vacancies, and improvement of learning quality would be implemented for the betterment of community schools.

Tax Exemption and Health Insurance Plans

To improve the attractiveness of community schools, the rural municipality has introduced a policy of giving tax exemption to families who teach in public schools. It will also arrange free health insurance for the families of Ward No. 4, 5, and 6 whose children are studying in public schools. The municipality is also preparing to distribute subsidized buses to public schools to increase their attractiveness.

Appeal for Admission to Public Schools

Bhanu Municipality has also appealed to public representatives, employees, and teachers to enroll their children in public schools. A notice has been issued to compulsorily enroll the children of government employees, public representatives, school teachers, employees, school management committee, and teacher-parent associations in public schools. Mayor Anandraj Tripathi said that this decision would be implemented to increase the educational quality of community schools.

Investment in Schools

The rural municipality has decided to spend its budget on improving schools instead of allocating it for the mother group building. Chairman Chuman said that emphasis would be placed on physical and educational areas to enhance the quality of government schools. Rather than buying a new office vehicle, the municipality has decided to invest the money in schools and distribute buses to increase the attraction of students towards government schools.

The decision to enroll the children of public representatives in public schools is a significant step towards improving the quality of education in Nepal's rural areas. The introduction of tax exemption and health insurance plans and the distribution of subsidized buses will also help to make community schools more attractive to students. The investment in schools instead of buying new vehicles is also a commendable initiative by the rural municipality.
