- Rehabilitation Program Manager
The position holder is in charge of rehabilitation service delivery, Including professional rehabilitation skill development; systems development for technical collaboration between public and private sectors; development of caregiver platform or network quality control for development of training curricula or adjustment of the existing training curriculum. The incumbent should possess and demonstrate the following:
- Professional experience of a minimum of five years ideally in Nepal or elsewhere in Asia in a rehabilitation managerial position or related health service delivery programs
- Post-graduate degree fie. Master's or doctoral level) in public health, management, or a related field preferred or a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of six years of managerial experience in related field
- Proven expertise in the required technical areas, including compliance with award conditions, sub-award management, monitoring and evaluation, tracking performance and costs, logistical planning. community mobilization, and ideally, operational research
- Good knowledge of issues influencing community participation in community-based interventions and effective outreach approaches preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, analytical abilities, and communication skills; ability to manage programs to accommodate a changing political and de-centralizing environment
- A good command over written and speaking English skills.
- sustainability / Governance Manages
The position holder is in charge of mentoring the Physical Rehabilitation Centers (PRC) for financial self-sustainability, including business administration: and development of productive relationships with government and other entities that can contribute to sustainability. The incumbent should possess and demonstrate the following:
- Professional experience of a minimum of three years in a managerial position for organizational capacity development or business development, preferably in Nepal or in developing countries
- Post-graduate degree (i.e., Master's or doctoral level) in management or a related field preferred or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of experience
- Proven expertise in the relevant technical areas, including the building of organizational capacity in the public sector and NG0s: marketing, business planning, financial management, fund-raising skills and governance
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills, good communication and collaboration skills, including experience in partnering with government and ability to innovate
- Knowledge of Nepalese provincial and local level government structures and systems and issues influencing local support to health and rehabilitation services
- Proven ability to manage programs to accommodate a changing political and decentralizing environment
- fluency in written and speaking English skills.
- Technical Advisor
The position holder is responsible for advising the IC DM5 (leprosy Control and Disability Management Sectionon governmental program planning and design. and budgeting; development of information management for the Section: identification of research needs; and advocacy on behalf of private sector rehabilitation service providers that coordinate with the public healthcare sector. The incumbent should possess and demonstrate the following:
- A minimum of four years of national and international technical experience in the field of rehabilitation, working on the activity of similar scope
- A postgraduate degree (Master's or doctoral level) in rehabilitation related field or management/ healthcare management preferred or a Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated expertise in rehabilitation service planning, design, and budgeting; experience in office systems
- Previous experience working with the government on rehabilitation required, preferably working on policy and planning
- Previous rehabilitation experience or healthcare management
- Demonstrated problem solving, communication, and advocacy skills
- Fluency in written and speaking English skills.
