Notice regarding the call for applications to fill the posts through an open competitive written examination of Industrial District Management Limited, Balaju, Kathmandu

Applications are invited from Nepali citizens who have fulfilled the prescribed qualifications as per the consent received from the Public Service Commission and the decision of the Posting Committee to fill the posts through open competition in the following posts, levels, and services/groups vacant in the approved posts of Industrial District Management Limited, Balaju, Kathmandu.

To participate in the open and inclusive competitive examination, applications must be submitted through the online application system on this Limited's website (www.idm.org.np) along with the examination fee within 30 (thirty) days of this notice being published.

Contact the administration branch if you have questions or problems filling out the application form. This notice also informs candidates who do not apply within the specified period or do not properly complete the application form that they cannot participate in the examination.

Special Notice Regarding Advertisement: The posts will be filled accordingly after the legal provisions are made, as per the Supreme Court's order dated 24/10/2079 in the petition regarding the transfer, including Writ No. 078-wo-0660.

Minimum Required Educational Qualifications

1. Engineer: Passed bachelor's level in engineering.

2. Officer: Passed Bachelor's level or equivalent.

3. Sub-Engineer: Passed Certificate level in the related engineering subject or equivalent.

4. Assistant Officer: Passed S.L.C. or equivalent or obtained a C in S.E.E.

5. Assistant Sub-Engineer (Electrical): Passed S.L.C. or equivalent and obtained at least 1 year of training in Electrical Engineering or passed T.S.L.C. or obtained at least C grade in T.S.E.E.

6. Assistant Sub-Engineer (Civil): Passed S.L.C. or equivalent and obtained at least 1 year of Civil Engineering or Plumbing training, or passed T.S.L.C. or obtained at least C grade in T.S.E.E.

7. Assistant (Technical): Passed S.L.C. or equivalent and obtained at least three months of training in Civil Engineering or Plumbing, or passed T.S.E.E. with at least C grade.

Note:

1) Type of Service: Permanent.

2) Conditions of Service, Salary, Allowances, and Facilities: These will follow the Limited's rules.

3) Type of Work and Area to be Worked: This will be done per the prevailing law prescribed by the Limited.

4) Examination Fee: Rs. 1,200/—for Advertisements Nos. 13 and 14, Rs. 700/—for Advertisements Nos. 15, Rs. 500/—for Advertisements Nos. 16, 17, and 18, and Rs. 300/—for other advertisements. When applying to more than one group, a 50 percent additional fee must be paid for each group post. The examination fee can be paid using the payment gateway provided in the online application system.

5) Age limit of the candidate: The age limit for the officer level should be 21 years, for the assistant level 18 years, and not more than 35 years as of the last date of application. The age limit for women and disabled candidates will be 40 years. There will be no age limit for permanent employees working in this Limited.

6) The Last date for the application is 2081/10/19, but it can be submitted by 2081/10/26 by paying double the fee. However, the educational qualification, inclusion certificate, and age limit obtained after the last date of application will not be valid.

7) Basis for applying for inclusion: Candidates applying for posts towards inclusion groups should submit a document certified as a surname within the caste listed by the Chief District Officer based on being listed in the Nepal Tribal/Tribal Upliftment National Foundation Act in the case of indigenous people/tribals and, if there is more than one surname within a caste, on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level. In the case of Madhesis residing in Terai-Madhesh, based on being certified by the institution as prescribed by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Gazette, but until the institution is specified by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette, a document certified by the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level. In the case of Dalits, based on being listed by the National Dalit Commission, if there is more than one surname, a document is certified by the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level.

8) Candidates will be selected through a written examination, computer skill test, and interview. Only candidates whose applications are accepted will be allowed to take the written examination, and only candidates who have passed the written examination will be allowed to take the computer skill test and interview.

9) Date, time, and place of written examination: The Public Service Commission will conduct the written examination for the above advertisements. A published notice will specify the written exam's procedure, time, and place.

10) In the case of educational qualifications for which equivalence is to be determined, the copies of such documents must be self-attested after determining equivalence from the concerned body.

11) Probationary period: There will be a probationary period of 1 year for male employees and 6 months for female employees. For permanent employees working in this Limited, the probationary period will not be applicable again.
