Nepal Government and UNDP Nepal Joint Project Vacancy:

The Provincial and Local Governance Support Programme (PLGSP) is a major program of the Government of Nepal for the institutional, organizational and personal capacity development of the province and local level governments. The main goal of this program is to create regional, local government, work-oriented, sustainable, inclusive and accountable. It aims to make the state and local government level service flow, make local infrastructure more accessible and support economic prosperity. This program aims to achieve 14 different results under the following three results:

- Constitutionally, all government and intergovernmental mechanisms will be fully operational under the federal structure.

- Provincial and local governments will have mechanisms in place capable, effective, inclusive and responsive.

- People's representatives and civil servants of the state and local government will have the ability to streamline the services to the citizens.

UNDP Nepal is partnering with the Ministry of Federal Affairs and the General Administration to provide technical assistance in the implementation of PLGSP. Accordingly, the project has called for the following posts from competent, capable and consequent Nepalese citizens.
