Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security (MOLESS) Call Application for National Honor and Awards

Government of Nepal, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, (MOLESS) Singha Durbar, Kathmandu Notice regarding submission of applications for national honor and awards to entrepreneurs who have returned from foreign employment and are operating enterprises in Nepal

This is to inform you that Nepali citizens meeting the following qualifications who have returned from foreign employment and are contributing to national production and employment by operating an enterprise in the country may apply for the award instituted to recognize their contribution and to promote self-employment.

Eligible applicants should fill out the application form as per Schedule-2 of the “Foreign Employment Returnee Entrepreneurs National Honor and Awards Management Working Procedure, 2076,” place it in a sealed envelope along with the documents listed below and submit it within twenty-one (21) days from the date of publication of this notice (i.e., by 2081/10/07) to the Employment Coordination and Information Section at the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security.

Required Qualifications:

1. Must have worked abroad for at least 1 year under a work visa and returned to Nepal.

2. Must have operated a business in Nepal for at least 1 year after returning from foreign employment.

3. Must not have received this type of award from this Ministry in the past 5 years.

Required Documents:

Along with the application form (Schedule-2), applicants must submit the following documents (self-attested if submitting copies):

1. Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate

2. Copy of labor permit

3. Copy of passport with visa

4. Copy of business registration certificate

5. Copy of tax registration certificate

6. Copy of tax clearance certificate for the fiscal year 2080/81

7. Self-declaration that no award of this type has been received previously
