Bhimodaya Secondary School's New Endowment Fund in Dhading

Dhading, October 16, 2023 - Bhimodaya Secondary School, located in Tripurasundari-6 Golang of Dhading district, has taken a commendable step towards enhancing local education. The school has inaugurated an Endowment Fund of 10 lakhs with the aim of supporting the educational aspirations of the village students.

This initiative ensures that students receive quality education in their community without the need to migrate elsewhere. The 'Hikmat Bahadur Pandey-2080' Akshaya Fund was generously established by the family of Diwakar Pandey, a Golang native who now lives in America. This fund serves as a heartfelt tribute to his late father and signifies Pandey's commitment to elevating the educational standards in Janmathala. Sharing his vision, Diwakar Pandey voiced his concerns over students leaving their village in search of better educational opportunities.

He stated his ambition of providing these students with superior education within their own village. Holding the esteemed position of co-treasurer of NRN America, Pandey highlighted the pivotal role his father played in the school's establishment, expressing that the fund is a homage to his legacy.

Even while residing overseas, Pandey underscores such contributions as a means to maintain a deep-rooted emotional bond with his homeland. In a gesture of solidarity and commitment, Pandey's family, including his wife Indira Simkhada, mother, and brother, traveled to Golang to personally present the fund's check. Their visit was met with heartfelt gratitude from the school's staff.

Teachers at Bhimodaya Secondary School are optimistic that the Akshaya Kosh will be a beacon of hope for many students who, due to financial hardships, often contemplate discontinuing their education.
