New Building of Saraswati Model Secondary School, Janakpur is being constructed

Seventy years old Saraswati Secondary School located in Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city is going to get a new look. The first president, Dr. Rambaran Yadav, who is also a former student, laid the foundation stone.

It was approved on 1st Baishakh 2004 at the initiative of the leaders of the education sector, Ramswaroop Sah, Ramsagar Sah, Pandit Thakur Prasad Regmi, and others. On the 28th of Shrawan 2004, the school was established and started operating under the name of Janakpur High School. This school has crossed seven decades. This school was operated in the year 2011 BS under the name of Saraswati High School and is currently operating as Saraswati Model Secondary School.

Urban Development Minister Metmani Chaudhary, former Deputy Prime Minister & Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi, former Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Satyendra Para Shrestha, former IGP Pradeep Shamsher Rana, Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ramesh Prasad Singh, and others studied in this school.

In the past, students from Mahottari, Sarlahi, Udaipur, Sindhuli, Ramechhap, and Okhaldhunga used to come to this school, especially for learning the Sanskrit language.
