Pakistan Government Distributed scholarship to 500 Nepalese Students

Chairman of National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina distributed 'Ambassador of Pakistan Scholarships' to 500 students studying in 10+2 in various high schools in the country.

Since 2013, the Pakistani Embassy has been providing meritorious students every year, at a program organized by the Pakistani Ambassador's Scholarship in the capital, Chairman Timilsina distributed Rs.10 thousand in cash to meritorious students.

Expressing brief remarks on the occasion, he appreciated the continued support Pakistan has made to Nepal's educational development. Stating that Nepal and Pakistan have good relations at the government level, he said such programs, including scholarships, will intensify public relations between the two countries.

Pakistan's Ambassador to Nepal, Majhar Jabed, said the country is increasing the number of scholarships while expressing its commitment to help the country as a youth who is the driving force of Nepal's development and to make them academically strong.

Himalayan Shamsher JBR, president of Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Organization, said that Pakistan has brought closer relations with Nepal by providing scholarships to Nepal's youth and students.
