Team of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) Visited the National Innovation Center

Mahabir Pun, president of the National Innovation Center, visited the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) just last month. During the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Graham Baldwin, welcomed Pun to his university with special respect. National Innovation Center's President Mahabir Pun is still in Europe on a visit. A team including UCLan's Director of International Recruitment Alison Denton, Director South Asia Govind Singh Bisht, and Director of Biz Education UK Hari Karki are currently on an official visit to the National Innovation Center.

During the official visit, Hari Silwal, Acting President of the Center, welcomed the participants and informed them about the ongoing research and development between the National Innovation Center and UCLan.

During the welcome address, Neupane thanked Hari Karki, Director, Biz Education UK, Program Coordinator. Appreciating UCLan's contribution to the need and justification of the Innovation Center, Allison Denton, Director of International Recruitment, UCLan, and Govind Singh Bisht, Director, South Asia, visited the Center.

After the official visit to the National Innovation Center, UCLan's Director of International Recruitment Alison Denton told a press conference that the development of new technologies in collaboration with UCLan and the National Innovation Center should alleviate poverty in Nepal and that UCLan will always be there.

At a press conference, Govind Singh Bisht, Director, UCLan, South Asia, said that UCLan would always be with the students of the National Innovation Center in promoting the practicality and professionalism of the new technologies developed by the students.

Hari Karki, Director of Biz Education UK, told reporters during the visit that "being a Nepali living in a foreign country, we are thinking about the sustainable development of Nepal as a whole and every migrant should be involved in the sustainable development of Nepal."
