Tribhuvan University (TT) has decided to postpone all the annual and semester system exams that are scheduled to be held from tomorrow.
The meeting of the Tribhuvan University Executive Council on Thursday decided to close all university exams and regular classes till mid-March.
"All the examinations from the SEE to CTEVT were postponed, we did not find it conducive to conduct the test in such a situation, so we have a meeting to postpone the examination, after the decision that everyone should postpone the meeting," he said.
He informed that all the campuses in the TU campuses were closed along with the exam. The Education Ministry had on Wednesday evening decided to close all examinations including the SEE.
However, since TU is an autonomous body, the Tribunal had called an emergency meeting today, saying the decision of the Ministry of Education was not certain to stop TU examination.
There were now examinations of various levels and faculties in the TU. The second and fourth semester exams are being conducted at the postgraduate level of the management faculty. The examination schedule was made public from the 9th Chaitra of the second semester and the 7th Chaitra of the fourth semester.
