Abt Associates is currently seeking qualified Nepali national professionals for the DFID ­funded Monitoring, Evaluation and Operational Research (MEOR) project of Nepal Health Sector Programme 3 (NHSP3). The MEOR project will enable DFID Nepal to continuously improve and adapt its programme to ensure that the NHSP3 and NFPP (Nepal Family Planning Project) intended outcomes and impact are achieved. The overarching objective of NHSP3 is to improve the health of all people with special focus on women, children, the poor and socially excluded in Nepal, including restoring health services in areas affected by the 2015 earthquake and improving the quality and governance of health services nationwide.

1. Knowledge Management & Dissemination Advisor - 1 position

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

Term: Full time till December 2020

The Knowledge Management and Dissemination Advisor reports to the Team Leader and is responsible for project knowledge management and learning from programme monitoring and evaluation, research as well as designing and implementing appropriate knowledge management strategies to plan and strengthen accountability.

2. Operational Research Advisor - 2 positions

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

Term: Full time till December 2020

The Operational Research Adviser as part of the research team will support the design and execution of the operational research work programme of MEOR using primary research and secondary quantitative and/or qualitative data required to inform NHSP3 and other DFID programmes, GoN and other key stakeholders.
