ADRA works in more than 135 countries around the world and is working in Nepal since 1987 with its Health interventions, Economic Development and Livelihood, Education, and Disaster Risk Management activities. Currently, ADRA Nepal is implementing UNFPP program in province 1, 2, 5, and 7 with support from UNFPA/DFID. The goal of the program is to contribute to improving maternal health through increased uptake of ASRH and FP services and strengthening the health system.
ADRA Nepal invites applications from qualified candidates for the following positions;
1. ASRH Expert (Kathmandu based): One
Qualification and Competencies:
- Master's in public health with minimum of 5 years of working experience in ASRH/Public health in developmental sectors. Assurance of Quality ASRH Service and administration abilities, leadership quality with a high level of integrity.
2. Project Officer (Kathmandu based): One
Qualification and Competencies:
- Bachelor in Public Health or Nursing or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a similar position. Exposure in reproductive health programs, knowledge on Adolescents program, sound knowledge about the current structure of Adolescent health and education programs, sound knowledge of computer programs.
3. Visiting Service Provider ( Staff Nurse/Sr. ANM-Field based): Two
Qualification and Competencies:
- PCL Nursing or ANM passed with Implant and IUCD training certified by NHTC, trained on Implant and IUCD insertion and removal, experience in providing FP services, a demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships with HF/HFOMC staff and health volunteers at community level, ability to work as a team player, and willingness to travel in remote area.
