Karnali Pradesh Lok Sewa Aayog Advertisement for 4th Level Administration Assistant Open and Inclusive Competitive Written Examination

As stipulated in Section 12 of the Personnel Adjustment Act, 2075, the vacant positions at various local levels of Karnali Province have to be filled by open and inclusive competitive examination, so applications are invited from the candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Candidates who have attained the prescribed minimum educational qualification should apply online through the commission's online application system https://ppsconline.karnali.gov.np. Candidates selected from the competitive examination will be recommended for appointment at the respective local level in order of priority.

Guidelines for Application Submission and Fee Payment

Examination Details:

  • Type of Examination: Written, Computer Skill Test, and Interview.
  • Location: Birendranagar, Surkhet, Karnali Province.

Application Fee:

  • Standard fee: Rs. 400 per advertisement.
  • For additional advertisements or inclusive groups: Additional Rs. 200 per group.

Submission of Application Fee:

  • Methods: Online Payment or Offline Payment via designated banks.
  • Period for Submission: Submit within specified dates and times according to instructions.

Process for Online Payment:

  1. Complete the form on the commission's online application system.
  2. Select a payment method—online through specified wallets or offline.
  3. If paying offline, print the bank voucher and submit it along with the fee to one of the designated banks.

For Offline Payment:

  • After online form submission, print the voucher and submit the fee to a designated bank.

Post-Submission Action:

  • Submit the Master ID and transaction code with the double fee (if required) in person within the commission's office hours on the next working day following the application deadline.

Application and Qualification Criteria for Administrative Positions

Application Deadline and Age Requirements:

Essential Information on Open and Inclusive Examinations

Eligibility and Examination Stages:

  • Candidates must not be disqualified under civil service law (refer to Section 10 of the Civil Service Act, 2049).
  • The examination process involves two stages; candidates must qualify in the first to proceed to the second.

Examination Passing Criteria:

  • A minimum of 40 percent in the first phase is required.
  • Second phase marks will be 50 percent based on the first phase's total marks.

Conduct of Examinations:

  • The second stage exam will occur simultaneously for all services/groups in one session.

Result Publication:

  • Results for all services/groups will be published alphabetically as a single cumulative list.

Post-Written Test Procedures:

  • Selected candidates cannot change their inclusion group priority after the written test.

  • Candidates will undergo the computer skill test and interview once, regardless of the number of inclusion groups they qualify for.
  • Scores from both the skill test and interview will be aggregated across all applied groups.

Final Selection:

  • Merit order, based on all test results and local level priority, will determine final appointments.

Documentation and Application Process:

  • Prepare all necessary documents as per the inclusion group criteria.
  • Self-attested copies of these documents must be submitted with the application.
  • Failure to submit required documents may lead to application cancellation.

Specific Document Requirements:

  • Adivasi Janajati Recognition: Obtain certification as per the Adivasi Janajati Utthan Rastriya Pratisthan Act.
  • Madhesi Group: Secure a document from the Government of Nepal or a recognized institution.
