Kathmandu International Study Centre (KISC) has nine vacancies for the 2018-2019 school years. KISC is a culturally diverse international school which represents students from 21 different countries. Over 80% of our students are internationals.
Qualifications & Experiences:
- Minimum of Bachelor Degree from an international university (preferred). All applicants must have an excellent ability to read, write, speak and listen in English. The applicants must also be able to teach fluently in English, record student progress in English and have experience working in an international school or experience in an educational setting outside of Nepal. Teachers must also be competent in administering a continuous assessment system. The Primary teachers must be competent in teaching to standards and objectives.
- English Teachers; Art Teacher and History teacher applicants must have an experienced teaching up to Cambridge IGCSE/AS/A level curriculum.
The Pastoral Care Teacher's primary responsibility includes counseling for students regarding social and emotional issues such as grief, depression, body image, self-esteem, anxiety, anger, bullying etcas referred by academic leaders.
The selection criteria include a formal interview, a written test (optional) and a teaching observation. The applicant must be willing to support the KISC's Mission, Vision, and Values.
