Letang Municipality announces the personnel recruitment for the following positions on a contractual basis. Eligible Nepali citizens are invited to submit their applications within 21 (twenty-one) days from the date of this notice's publication, along with the receipt of revenue payment, and all required documents, as per the decision of the Recruitment Committee dated 2081/07/04.

Position: Municipal Police Assistant Inspector (for Ex-Security Personnel)- Nepali citizen
- Retired personnel from Nepal Army, Nepal Police, or Armed Police Force as per regulations
- Aged 18 to 48 years
- Passed SLC, SEE, or equivalent
- Retired from the rank of Police Assistant Inspector or higher if from Nepal Police or Armed Police, or from Jamdar or higher rank if from Nepal Army.

Position: Municipal Police Hawaldar (for Ex-Security Personnel)- Nepali citizen
- Retired personnel from Nepal Army, Nepal Police, or Armed Police Force as per regulations
- Aged 18 to 48 years
- Passed Class 10 or equivalent
- Retired from the rank of Hawaldar or higher from Nepal Army, Nepal Police, or Armed Police.

Position: Municipal Police Constable (Open/Female)- Educational Qualification: Passed Class 8
- Aged 18 to 35 years (up to 40 years for females) at the application deadline
- Must not have been convicted of any criminal offense indicating moral turpitude
- Physical Requirements:
a) Male: Minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches, chest 31 inches (normal) and 33 inches (expanded), minimum weight 50 kg.
b) Female: Minimum height of 5 feet, minimum weight 42 kg.
c) Eyesight: Not weaker than -2 or +2.
2. Application Submission Location:
- Office of Letang Municipality (Administration Branch)
3. Application Deadline:
- Until 2081/07/26 within office hours. Applications can be submitted on the next working day if the last date falls on a public holiday.
4. Types of Examinations:
- Preliminary Health and Physical Fitness Test, Health Test, Written Examination, and Interview.
5. Syllabus:
- Based on the syllabus set by the Public Service Commission for the relevant positions.
6. Documents to be Submitted with Application:
- Certified copies of educational qualifications and experience certificates, if required.
- Certified copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate.
- Two passport-sized photographs.
7. Service Facilities:
- As determined by the Municipal Executive.
8. Examination Schedule:
- The physical fitness test schedule and criteria will be published when the accepted applicants are released.
- The date of the written examination will be published after the physical fitness test.
- The interview date will be set in the notification of the written exam results.
