A public limited company under Panchakanya Group is looking fora suitable candidate to appoint as a General Manager of the Company. The following are the detail about the vacancy.
Position: General Manager
Job Location: Panchakanya Group Corporate Office at Pulchwok, Lalitpur.
Reporting to: Managing Director / Board
Job Summary:
As a Head of the strategic business unit (SBU) responsible for developing high-quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short term and long-term objectives for achieving the company's annual goals and long term strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicating on behalf of the company, with shareholders, Government entities and general public/ communities, etc.
- Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
- Leading and motivating the team/s to advance employee engagement and developing a high performing managerial team.
- Assessing risks to the company and monitoring and minimizing the same. In this regard analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
- Ensure adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company's legality and business ethics.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls for both operations and financial
Qualification & Competence
The ideal candidate should be as following
- Minimum Bachelor in Engineering background with an MBA.
- An experience of 7 - 10 years in infrastructure-related industries in a managerial capacity and 5 years as a Head of Department.
- Candidate with exposure/ experience in Sales and Marketing of construction business shall be preferred.
