About the role:
Practical Action has an exciting opportunity for a 'Project Manager' to work under Climate Change and fragility Kai project based its Nepalganj. Reporting to the Head of Programme Delivery, the position visa be accountable for leading the planning and delivery of the project, S/he shall coordinate for effective and sustainable project strategies/ approaches and Implementation of activities as well as ensure coherence and effectiveness In influencing so as to contribute to the organization's Strategic Business Plan and the Change Ambitions. S/he shall be overall in-charge of the Ca' Project in Nepal.
About you:
As an experienced and credible Project Manager. you will have knowledge of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) policy and implementation processes You will act as communication and coordination focal point with other relevant actors for the project You wit have a proven track record of adding value and can demonstrate strong strategic and analytical problem-solving skins In addition, you will have experience of managing overall contract and follow the conditions of award; manage, coach and mentor project team members for professional growth by offering quality feedback and opportunities to progress and grow; ensure that all Involved through the project including partners and those acting on the organization's behalf are well aware and apply the safeguarding principles, code of conduct, protection policy, fraud policy and whistleblowing policy The minimum Qualification of Master's Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Project Management with five years' experience in the related held is required.
