We seek to recruit Business Development Manager (BDM) to work in Practical Action based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

About the role
We are looking for a competent Business Development Manager to provide support to the overall areas of business development in the organization that adds value and impact and to provide strategic inputs. S/he shall support to oversee areas of donor intelligence, project design, proposal development, fundraising, donor reporting, ensuring internal compliance, and strengthen organisational profile. S/he will manage strategic relationships with donors, partners, governments, and other stakeholders.
About you
You are experienced and have proven analytical skills and the ability to think strategically in relation to business and programme development. You have knowledge of international development scenarios and a good understanding of current donor trends and their implications on business development. You have experience in interpreting donor policies and guidelines and producing and/or making recommendations for producing high-quality proposals and reports. You have excellent negotiation, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
