Social Development and Research Center (SDRC) Vacancy Announcement for Social Mobilizer
The Social Development and Research Center (SDRC) is a leading non-governmental organization that operates in 10 districts of Nepal, including Dhanusha, Mahotari, Bara, Parsa, Sirha, Saptari, Sindhuli, Udaipur, Sarlahi, and Dang. SDRC partners with various donor agencies, such as Plan International Nepal, Fund Board, CARITAS Nepal, PAF, OXFAM, UNICEF, Action Aid, LGCDP, UNDP, BISEP/SNV, FWLD/DFID, Embassy of Australia, ADRA/Gov Nepal, ADB, Domestic and Small Industries Development, IEFS Nepal, Election Commission of Nepal, and Nepal Government, to implement various projects, including child protection, child development, livelihoods, relief distribution for the disabled, integrated pesticide management, community disaster management and risk reduction, prevention of human trafficking and unsafe migration, community-based disaster preparedness, community awareness of child welfare and development, advocacy in disaster management programs, community mediation training, local governance, and community development projects.
SDRC has been continuously providing these programs for the past 21 years. Currently, SDRC is seeking a qualified Social Administrator to work on the Children's Dream Project in Janakandini Rural Municipality and Bidehi Municipality in partnership with Plan International Nepal. 1) Post: Social Mobilizer
Required No.: 1 (one)
Desirable Qualification:
- 1 year experience after passing HA or 2-3 years working in the field of social mobilization after passing ANM.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of initial Wall Development experience.
- Able to coordinate and conduct training with local health facilities and FCHVs to implement the program at the community level.
- Able to support and facilitate FCHVs and dialogue facilitators to conduct effective sessions in the community.
- Able to regularly facilitate, monitor and home visit parents/community for appropriate use of parenting skills and supported materials.
- Facilitate community leaders/teachers/parents to create a fear-free and non-violent environment for the development of children in the community.
- Able to collect and compile different data of service users.
- Facilitate parents to create a child and gender-friendly environment at home and in the community.
- Able to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports.
Necessary documents to be attached with the application:

- Copy of documents confirming educational qualifications, training, and work experience.
Note:
