Job Position: Accountant -2
SOS Children's Villages Nepal is currently hiring for the position of Accountant at Youth Care Gandaki, based in Pokhara-15, Rambazar and Community Based Family Strengthening Programme, based in Vyas-13 and 14, Tanahun.
Responsibilities:
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial discipline with proper accounting systems. This includes preparing financial reports, presentations, managing day-to-day financial transactions, and financial correspondence. The Accountant will also be responsible for a realistic analysis of annual budget forecasts, including controlling and monitoring the budget.
Qualifications and Skills:
The minimum requirement for this position is a bachelor's degree in management with specialization in Finance/ Accounting with at least a second division or equivalent and at least one year of relevant work experience. Knowledge of government regulations in relation to procurement, taxes, and accounting systems of Nepal will be an added advantage. The candidate must have excellent communication skills in English and Nepali, proficiency in computer applications, and excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude. Experience working with children and young people will also be an added advantage. Candidates with a two-wheeler license will be preferred.
