Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (TIO) Vacancy:

Nepal Eye Program, Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (TIO), a centre of excellence in comprehensive eye care service delivery including training; research; intraocular lens manufacturing facility; eye bank and community program is currently looking for qualified Nepali candidates to apply for the following positions on the time-bound basis which is renewable thereafter subject to satisfactory performance.

Assistant -Anesthesia

(No. of Position -few) - Level-5B- TIO Minimum Requirements:

1. PCL in Health Sciences (Staff nurse, Health Assistant, Ophthalmic Assistant).
2. 1-year Anesthesia assistant course from reputed Institution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre-anesthetic assessment of patient requiring anesthesia:
2. Assist anesthesiologist for Pre-anesthetic check up and taking informed consent after counseling.
3. In the operation room complex:
4. Prepare the anesthetic equipment and anesthetic drugs as per protocol of the institute.
5. Attachment of monitoring equipment, institute IV access for drugs and fluids and assist in providing general anesthesia.
6. Monitor, maintain and managing vitals of the patient during anesthesia.
7. Continue monitor, maintain and manage vitals of the patient during recovery period until full recovery & Preparation of resuscitation and CPR materials.
8. Carry out other duties as required and given by the line manager.
