KMC Instructs Schools not to Teach in Physical Presence

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has immediately instructed the schools here to conduct classes through alternative methods. The KMC has been instructed to conduct classes through alternative means immediately after receiving complaints that some private schools are conducting classes in physical presence at a time when the transition is on the rise.

Stating that the directives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, District Administration Office, Kathmandu, and the Kathmandu Metropolitan Education Department have been ignored for the prevention and control of coronavirus infection, the Kathmandu Metropolitan Education Department has issued notice and directed to immediately stop the physical education.

It is said that KMC will be forced to take action if the directive is ignored. Stating that the third wave of coronavirus infection is increasing rapidly, the government has instructed all schools not to conduct classes in physical attendance from 2078 Poush 27. The metropolis has issued such instruction again after the people complained that the school was operating ignoring the instructions of the government.
