Tribhuvan University Embraces Office Automation for Efficient Administration

In a significant move towards modernization and efficiency, Tribhuvan University (TU) has fully implemented an office automation system across all its agencies. Launched on July 17, 2023, the system aims to streamline administrative processes, making them faster, more efficient, and more effective.

Key Features of the Automation System

  • Comprehensive Coverage: The system handles registration, invoices, comments, correspondence, circulars, and decision-making documents.

  • User-Friendly: 529 user IDs have been created, making it accessible for all staff members.

  • Built by Experts: The system was developed by Softech Infosys Pvt Ltd, a leader in office automation solutions.

Inauguration and Training

The Vice-Chancellor of TU, Prof. Dr. Prada Dharmakanta Waskota, officially inaugurated the system during a staff training program held at the Registrar's Office in Kirtipur. The training program, organized by the TU Coordination Division, aims to familiarize staff with the new system.

The initial training session, conducted on September 4, 2023, saw participation from various divisions like Personnel Administration and Financial Administration. Future training sessions are planned to include employees from other agencies.
